Matthews Auto Collision & Rust Repair has been in operation nearly ten years. It is owned & operated by Smiths Falls natives Debbie & David Matthews. Dave & Debbie together with their staff of six brings together over 35yrs experience to the business.

David & Debbie have built their business on “Customer Satisfaction”, and feels that word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. Although Matthews Collision is well recognized in the insurance industry, rust repair, restoration, customizing and undercoating are some of the other work they do. The shop has been credited in numerous magazines over the years for the custom work done.

Such things as electronic estimates are offered free of charge while you wait. You will walk away knowing that they have affordable prices you can count on. Nobody ever wants to be in an accident, but if it ever happens the staff at Matthews will take care of you. They will contact your insurance company for you, they will even set up a rental vehicle. Regular repairs for customers are looked after with the same respect. Matthews will pick up and or drop off your vehicle for you. They’ve even been known to drive you to work, repair your car and pick you up at the end of your day. Therefore there is no inconvenience to you the customer.

Knowing there was a demand for aftermarket items, Dave added “Motorhedz” in 2005 as part of his business. Motorhedz supplies an extensive line of various speed, accessories and apparel. They carry such lines as Vent Visor, American Racing, K&N and much more. All aftermarket products are offered at competitive prices. There are shipments received 3 times a week for your convenience. If it isn’t in stock, they will gladly order it for you. The friendly staff can help you decide what is available for your vehicle in a matter of minutes.

Matthews Collision is always looking for feedback and ways to improve day-to-day operations. Dave has recently added a customer service representative to the front office to take care of the daily office needs as well as to look after the aftermarket part of the business. This way he can focus more in the shop. While the automotive repair market seems to be slowing down, Matthews is not. We can credit this to Debbie & David’s honest approach and customer satisfaction approach.

Matthews takes part in the Ontario Apprenticeship Program and currently has two 2nd year apprentices on sight. The business also gives a helping hand to the cooperative education program and gives sponsorship to a local softball team for youth.

Debbie & David can accredit the success of their business to the commitment, dedication and attention to detail from their staff as well as themselves. Matthews Collision is a small shop with a big heart.
